Headquarters of the Army of Northern Virginia
The Headquarters marker consists of a heavy 12-pounder set into a granite base, with a bronze tablet on the front. It was erected by the Gettysburg National Military Park Commission in 1920.

The monument is on the south side of Chambersburg Road (US 30) across from the Thompson House (Lee’s Headquarters).
