Union monuments at Gettysburg


Over 900 men from New Hampshire fought at Gettysburg, suffering 368 casualties. (see the States at Gettysburg) There are five monuments to New Hampshire units who fought in the Battle of Gettysburg, honoring three infantry regiments, an artillery battery, and three companies of sharpshooters.

New Hampshire sent over 33,000 men to the Union Army in the Civil War.
